Finale of National Orange Ribbon Celebrations: HarmonyWorks! Conference: Beyond Tolerance; Embracing Diversity

Venue: Republic Polytechnic
Organisers OPSG and Republic Polytechnic together with CDCs/SHGs/PA and MCYS
Objective : To provide a platform for Secondary and post-secondary students to gather insights, views and opinions on inter-racial and inter-religious issues. There will be a plenary session with Dr Norman Vasu, from Rajaratnam School of International Studies, speaking on the topic of Multiculturalism followed by a dialogue session with our Mayor and post-65 MPs. Students will also be engaged in small group discussions on the topic of diversity and moving beyond tolerance.
Involvement from youths :Participation (we are targeting 500 participants for the HarmonyWorks! Conference Walk)

This event is HIGHLY PRESTIGIOUS with the organization sending out invitations to the other Secondary Schools, Polytechnics and Junior Colleges as well. Since it is a one-time event, All those who can come down for the HarmonyWorks! Conference..... or even for the Harmony Walk... Please do sign up!
